We hope you all had a fun Halloween! Make sure you check your kids candy for needles and razor blades. The most sure way to do this is by just taking a bite out of every piece.

Those are GREAT costumes!
Yeah, we used to "test" Meg's candy, but she's on to us now. She comes home and hides it in her room.
Those kids look excited! I need to remember to take more pictures BEFORE it gets dark this year. I always botch that up.
Ella was just trying to stay in character. She was serious about it.

So, with a group like that, how long did it take to get through each house? I mean, I'm thinking it probably took you 3 hours to get to 10 houses. Am I right?

Thanks for reminding us about the dangers of Halloween candy. My parents never let me T-or-T because of said dangers and when I tell people about the razor blades I get some confused looks as if I am the only person who ever heard it.

We missed halloween this year but I only have one trick or treater left so it wasn't so painful.
No need to worry i will taste every piece of candy for poison and dangerous objects....then the scale will tell you all that i did my job as a responsible mother.
