My Christmas cards,

Alright, so I never did mail Christmas cards this year. I bought them, but I never did get a good picture to send. And I hate getting cards without pictures. I thought about sending out "New Year's" cards, but I probably won't because I haven't made my resolutioins yet. For Christmas Dwight kindly gave me a junk drawer organizer. It looks like a silverware drawer organizer, only it has slots for things like scissors and plyers. When I was going through my junk drawers, (I have 4 of them) I realized my junk drawers are mostly full of papers. There aren't any slots in the organizers for papers. So I started to go through all the papers and I found my cards from last year. Apparently I only sent part of them out. I remembered why I did that, and it had to do with pictures too. I then started thinking of all the pictures I have sent out in other years. I spent the rest of the night looking at that. All the papers from my junk drawer are still sitting on my counter, but I made a video for my blog, so it is all okay. This is just a little slide show I put together from pictures I tried to take of the kids for a card in Christmas of 2001. I had to use one of Jenny's songs, because that is all that I could get to download, but I figured it was better with one of Jenny's songs than no song at all. It's pretty fancy. My favorite picture is the one where calvin decided, for no real reason, to stick his finger in Ella's mouth. (BTW, I was kidding about the fancy part)

Christmas Eve

It is 11:30 p.m., and I am no where near being able to go to bed. This happens every year. I am totally exhausted, and I know I will be woken up at the crack of dawn. Does this happen to any of you? I am excited for my kids, but too tired to enjoy it all. I really looking forward for all the partying to end. We went to mom and dads tonight to celebrate Christmas Eve. We totally stuffed ourselves, mom and Sara did fondu. It was the 5th night in a row of parties. (We are soooo popular) Anyway, I hope you all have a Merry Christmas, filled with fun and some relaxation as well.

FHV/PD/N...

I had to replace FHV/PD/N with a birthday dedication. Happy Birthday Dad! You don't look too old to me!

Here is a sweet picture of my dad with my fake cabbage patch doll.

And another of him wearing one of my favorite shirts of his. I think he still has it, and it probably looks the same now as it did 20 years ago. (He takes such great care of things.) He has some pretty nice fat ties that look brand new

He is away in Las Vegas, visiting his other spawn right now. But I am sure he wishes he was here with me! Or, at least in his own house, with me over there, giving him his gift, which I so lovingly picked out for him over a month ago. So Happy Birthday Daddy, I can't wait for you to come home. I love you!

Howie has taught himself to play the piano. As you can clearly see, he is very talented.

I said I would and I did

Okay, here is part two of the Annual Bailey Family Christmas Party. The white elephant gift exchange continues.... Pete was lucky enough to get my cool Christmas sweater vest. He showed his appreciation by wearing it the ENTIRE night. Also, about a half hour after the party ended, a knock came at my door. I answered it, and it was Pete. Apparently they forgot something, but he was still wearing the sweater!
I won, from Amanda and Steve, this sweet VHS collection. Don't worry, Dwight and I waiting until the kids were in bed before we put on the dirty one.

After all the gifts were opened, and the laughter had died down a bit, we started up another game. Amanda brought Imaginiff, and we all had a great time imagining all sorts of things. Who is a bag of chips hanging in the vending machine? If you want to know the answer, come to the next party.

As you can clearly see, Holly and Casey could hardly contain themselves.

Then it was time to go. We had such a great time we all decided to get a group picture. Okay, maybe we didn't all decide, but it was my house, and they need to be gracious guests and comply with my demands. (Dwight volunteered to take the picture, but he was there too)

I know you can all hardly wait until the 5th Annual Bailey Family Christmas Party. But until then, you will have this blog to remember it by.

4th Annual Bailey Family Christmas Party....

For those of you who are so devastated to have missed our Annual Bailey Family Christmas Party, don't worry I took plenty of pictures. this may take up a couple of postings. The highlight of our annual party is, of course, the white elephant gift exchange. This year, Morgan decided he wanted to be banned from any future parties, by bringing the most digusting gift EVER! I am having a hard time even posting a picture of it. I am only posting it because the gift that was opened after this gift was so perfect. (By the way, Uncle David screammed the loudest)

After the screaming died down, it was time to open another gift. The game had now taken a scary turn. It was Amandas turn to pick something, and she picked the gift dad brought. Keep in mind, he had no idea about the rat. This is how intuned our family is.

Morgan, the rat, got lucky, and picked a totally awesome gift. He then spent the rest of the night rockin out with his Ghetto Blaster!
Dad was so excited, it was now his turn to pick a gift. After seeing the great gift Morgan got, his hopes for something good were really high.

He picked Sara's gift. I am pretty sure he had already used one of these earlier in the day, because he had a look that seemed to say he already knew what the answer was, and maybe didn't need this.

Well, there is more to come. So check back tomorrow for the conclusion of the 4th Annual Bailey Famly Christmas Party!

FHVD.......Kids choice award.

First of all, I am not pregnant. I guess I just look it. Thanks for making me feel so good about myself for the holidays Katie. Even though I am deep in depression now, I am going to post anyway. I am getting it out early in the day because I have alot of work to do today to get ready for our FOURTH annual Bailey family Christmas party!!!! Don't think you weren't all invited. Anyone who is willing to travel up to boise for it is welcome. I will fill you all in on the big party tomorrow. I am sure you can't wait!
This is a dumb video, but my kids find it hillarious. So I went with their suggestion. It is a family birthday party and my cute nephew had this booger that he kept breathing in and out of his nose, making Calvin just about pee his pants. So just sit back and enjoy. Don't forget to pay close attention to his nostril area, or you might miss the fun.

Belated FHVPDN

Sorry I haven't posted for awhile, and I am very sorry I missed FHVD. I had some serious technical difficulties. So I am going to, again, just stick with a picture. Hopefully I will get the video to work soon, because boy was it great! (I am kind of joking if you cannot read my sarcasm) Well, this was going to be a series for me, because we went so many times.......does anyone remember this trip? I figured maybe I should stick with the theme of Disneyland trips. That could really last me for quite some time. We all took this trip in March of 2002, not really that long ago, but it sure seems like it. I remember thinking this would be so much fun, just like when we were kids. It isn't as much fun when you are the one paying, waiting in line with a whiny kid, and watching another one of the Waite's get lost. I think it was one of Anna's this time. Anna and I were the only smart one's, leaving our babies with a grandma. Look how ridiculous Anthony, Katie and Erin are having to sit in every picture just to get their baby in it.

I like Calvin's eyes just barely peeking out in this picture.

Here's where all the "boys" thought it was funny to look like they were driving without using any hands. I think it is a sign of things to come for you Anna. I also love how Erin is sitting in the car with all the kids, looking annoyed that they are all ruining her fun of sitting in the play car.

I think Anthony was especially happy to be sitting in this picture. He doesn't look at all humiliated.
Disneyland is just always such a good time. And don't worry I have got plenty more trips to the magic kingdom to post about. (But I will try to not have to) Anyway, happy belated FHVD or FHVN or FHPN or FHPD or FHVPDN.
