Mother of the Year, fa shizzle

I thought it was about time to give you all a few more excerpts from my parenting book.

1. When your kids get hurt, try to refrain from telling them to "suck it up" until after you get the x-ray results. It's one of those things they may remember when they get older.

2. When your child get his booster and is super sad like this:One way to cheer him up is to tell him he can be the one to let his older brother know he has to get a booster shot too. Totally works, see:3. When your kids get a hold of your camera and take a bazillion pictures of each other, make sure you look at each one carefully before you delete them. Cuz you could miss out on this:

4. When you have an old friend with photo skillz come into town, always take advantage of them by having them spend their Saturday taking pictures of your kids. Is it bad that I picked this one for my big framed one?

Even without seeing the rest of the photo shoot, I can tell that that one would be my favorite too.

In that last pic Ella looks just like how I'd imagine your face would look if getting pinched. Twinnerz!!

Also, what is with you Morgans and huge/creepy/old family pics in ornate frames? Do you all have one?

Bailey totally looks like Dwight in that photo of him making a freaky face. Don't tell Dwight I said that though.

You are a way fun mom and I know your kids are gonna be happy when they look back and it's all said and done.

I would still totally buy your parenting book.

Landee-I don't have a giant family photo in an ornate picture frame cuz I am the poor one.

Amy-we need to start altering Ella memory to make her think that YOU were concerned and SHE kept saying she was fine. Over time, I think we could convince her. But you may need to delete this blog post first.

Also, I think the picture of Bailey is cute and Dwight would be proud....and I wanna a copy of the kids picture. Crazy Howie!

That fancy portrait is in my guest room, along with a few others. You're dying to come stay at my house now I know it!
Sara, I've already been working on that plan.

OMG, I lOVE the picture you picked! Hilarious. Ella's expression is making me laugh. And I want to see a better picture of Ella with her walking cast thingermajig.

I want a copy of that picture of your kids to hang next to my favorite 2008 Christmas Card.

And I'll be your kids think you're a cool/fun mom. Except when you make the clean the bathrooms, of course.

:0)

Ahhh the ole standby..the Boise Depot. Now it won't be as awesome when we go stage our fake wedding pics there..thx a lot. "Suck it up" is the right thing to say no matter what. You don't want them to panic fhs! Especially if you aren't done feeding your farmvilles!

p.s. What is up with Howie's hair? "Someone" keeps asking me to ask and I keep forgetting.

1. This is in opposition to our current family policy

2. Going to try that next time

3. Nice

4. I love family pictures with personality. Good choice!

We have the same parenting skills. Em broke her arm on a Saturday night and I didn't take her to get xrays til Monday. OK. I actually did that twice, but at least the second time I already had the sling.
